160 breeds of dog. 41 of cats all in one place!

This Saturday was a interesting day, I went to Javits Center, to see what they called "Meet the Breeds"-who would have ever thought to come up with something like this?-and I must say it was something amazing to witness. Can you believe, 160 breeds of Dog. 41 breeds of Cats all in one place. yep believe it. I was able to see this for the cost of $12, very well spent.

Description on the showcase

"The American Kennel Club® and the Cat Fanciers' Association® hosted more than 36,000 people at Meet the Breeds™ —the world's largest showcase of dogs and cats— on October 17-18, 2009, at the Javits Center in New York City.

Proudly presented by PetPartners, Inc., a leading pet healthcare provider, the event featured over 115,000 square feet of dog and cat festivities. More than 100 vendors selling every imaginable product for pets and their owners, five ongoing demonstration rings (featuring law enforcement K9s, grooming, agility, obedience and an interactive 'Cat Idol' showcase and more) joined the main attraction: nearly 200 individually decorated breed booths where the public interacted with dogs, cats, puppies and kittens as well as learned about their history and unique attributes as a pet directly from the experts."

And here are some pictures!!!
